It’s a free, family event where market stalls rub shoulders with the finest local food and drink producers from all over Shropshire and North Wales. In addition to tasty treats, there will be street entertainment and music to enjoy. Get your taste buds ready!
** Remember there is a free town bus service on Saturday **

Over the weekend of the 6th and 7th July, wonderful residents of Shifnal will get together with Love Shifnal to open their beautiful private back gardens (and 1 front garden!) in aid of local Shropshire charity, Community Resource.
By buying tickets for this event you'll be raising money to support local charity, Community Resource and their work helping people and communities across the County facing difficulties.
NEW FOR 2024 - Each ticket purchased online will be entered into a prize draw to win one of three David Austin English Roses! The more tickets purchased, the more chances to win! Tickets will be drawn on Monday 8th July.
With 6 gardens across Shifnal to explore, plus the Millennium Sensory Garden it should be a fantastic weekend! On Saturday, your wristbands will also gain you entry to an exhibition of historical gardens in Shifnal at the Fire Station Exhibition Centre and Meeting Room (Shrewsbury Road), kindly displayed by the Shifnal History Group.
On Sunday, Seniors Hall, Curriers Lane will be open for refreshments.
The amazing gardens taking place this year are:
Shrewsbury Road, Vicarage Drive (Front garden only), Curriers Lane, Broadway, Hinnington Road, Barn Road and Lovell Close
Gardens are open from 11am until 4pm to explore over both days - any differences to these times will be printed on the trail map provided.
Joining us this year will be the Shifnal Millennium Sensory Garden which has been designed to be accessible for people of all ages and abilities (wheelchair friendly). The garden attracts a variety of wildlife and we have a hedgehog hide and bug hotels as well as lots of bird boxes. Wide footpaths, seating areas, raised flower beds, planting designed for scent, colour, texture, sound and touch are features of the garden. The garden will be holding a plant sale during the event with all proceeds going to support the gardens future.
Entry wristbands and Trail maps can be purchased via Eventbrite and will be sent out to you closer to the event weekend.
Wristbands are £12 each £20 for two (couples ticket) and Families are £22 (2 Adults plus children)
All Wristbands include a trail map, entry to all the gardens involved and the Shifnal Millennium Sensory Garden over both days. It will also gain you entry to the Historical Shifnal Gardens Exhibition at the Fire Station on Saturday ONLY.
Please note - due to the nature of the individual gardens, we're sorry but this trail is not suitable for wheelchairs (with the exception of the Millennium Sensory Gardens and Curriers Lane) and no dogs are allowed accept Service dogs.

Running most Sundays throughout the year from March 17th to Sunday 27th October
A leisurely four-hour cruise that starts and ends in Llangollen We will meander along the Llangollen Canal taking in all the beautiful scenery that the Dee Valley and its river has to offer. We will then pass through Trevor Basin which leads us on to the magnificent Pontcysyllte Aqueduct which we will cross not just once, but twice. The view is breath taking.

Your food will be at your table when you board the boat ready for you to eat at your leisure and you can order your drinks from the crew.
A full sandwich of your choice, freshly baked scone with jam, butter and cream, shortbread daisy, 3 mini bites of homemade cakes (for example, brownies, lemon drizzle and bakewell slice (all our cakes and treats are homemade) fruit, crisps and sweets. A glass of Prosecco.
All this for the amazing price of £32.95 per person
There is a fully stocked bar onboard the boat and we also serve hot and cold drinks.
