Poppy Ride Shropshire
2nd June 2024
at Lilleshall National Sports Centre, And Conferencing Centre,
LilleshallPoppy Ride Shropshire
- 2nd June 2024
More InformationTake on an incredible ride alongside veterans, choosing 1 of 3 scenic routes of varying distances (152km/100km/50km), starting and finishing at the Royal British Legion’s first-class Battle Back Centre for recovery before heading through the picturesque Shropshire countryside.
Using decades of cycling know-how, each of the three distance routes offered have been professionally designed. While you enjoy stunning scenery, rolling hills, and tour past local landmarks - the team makes sure you have everything you need. This really is a sportive not to be missed.
By taking part you’re helping the Royal British Legion raise vital funds to ensure they can continue to support serving and ex-serving personnel, and their families, for as long as they need it.
There is no fundraising limit but for those who go the extra mile (not literally) and raise over £300, will earn their own RBL Cycling Jersey to wear with pride on the day.
Not a cyclist? There are also amazing opportunities to volunteer on the day offering a great way to get involved which will still contribute massively to support the Royal British Legion’s armed forces community and veterans. Find out more here: https://www.britishlegion.org.uk/get-involved/things-to-do/volunteer/volunteering-roles-in-west-midlands-shropshire-staffordshire-warwickshire
