Both gardens are opening together this year so that visitors can see a developing 'edible garden' with six large beds for a wide range of fruit and vegetables, all grown organically. Three very different gardens will open this year with features inc an orchard, vegetable plots, meadow, ponds and roses, plus rare and interesting plants inc orchids. There is an emphasis on encouraging wildlife through the planting of native species, habitat provision and avoidance of chemicals. Parking, WC, plant sale and refreshments are available at 17 Mortimer Road where there are a dozen different seating areas from which to choose.
