The traders’ market will feature signed books, merchandise and original artwork, while facilitated Q&A sessions give audiences the opportunity to ask our speakers about their work. Plus, Spellbound Immersive Productions will bring works of fiction to life with live performances throughout the day.

More InformationExotic Zoo in Telford Town Park is embracing Meerkat Mayhem for May half term. They are adding special meerkat and otter talks during the event from May 23rd to 31st. There will be public feeding sessions to get up close to the animals.
Tickets include access to the whole zoo, which includes a Rainforest Zone, Desert Zone, Nocturnal Area, and Farmyard, all located within Telford Town Park.
Exotic Zoo will be open daily from 11am - 4pm during half term. Adult tickets are £12, child tickets are £10, and under 2s go free.

Join us on Sunday 31st May 2026 for a magical evening hike across the stunning Shropshire Hills, timed perfectly with the full moon and sunset. This 7.5 km circular adventure takes in Hope Bowdler Hill, the Battlestones, and the iconic Caer Caradoc, where we’ll seek out the hidden Caractacus Cave and watch the sun dip below the horizon—with stunning views over The Long Mynd as it disappears—before descending under moonlight.
Expect a mix of grassy ridges, rocky sections, and steady climbs, with big views and even bigger vibes. Bring layers, a headtorch, snacks, and something warm to enjoy at the summit while we soak it all in.

Route Highlights
⛰️ Hope Bowdler Hill – A beautiful ridge walk with rolling views across the Shropshire Hills.🪨 The Battlestones – Dramatic rocky outcrops steeped in local legend and perfect for a quick pause.
🕳️ Caractacus Cave – Hidden on the slopes of Caer Caradoc, linked to ancient British history and a bit of mystery.
🌄 Caer Caradoc Summit (459 m / 1,506 ft) – A striking hillfort summit with panoramic views—our sunset spot overlooking the Long Mynd.
🌙 Moonlit descent – Head back as dusk settles and the full moon rises over the hills.
