South Shropshire Stories is a free outdoor short film project for young people about exploring local stories — delivered by South Shropshire Youth Forum and filmmakers, Nick and Mike. It’s funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.
This summer we'll be in the Clee Hills Mon 18th, Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th August 10.30am-3.30pm with a small group of young people (aged 11-18). The group will explore a local place, investigate a story connected to it from the 1940s-1960s, and make short films about what they discover.
There’s no cost to take part. Filmmaking kit will be provided.
Please only book if you plan to come to all three days as we’ll be building on what we do each day.
If you have any questions or would like to talk about access needs, please email Nick (she/her) workshops@pieceofstringmedia.co.uk or Rich richssyf@yahoo.com
