Imposing castellated house (not open) stands in four acres. Mature garden, with fine trees, rhododendrons, azaleas, acers and camellias. Herbaceous borders; walled potager and Victorian thatched summerhouse provide added interest. Paths meander around and over sandstone outcrop at centre. First opened for the National Garden Scheme in 1927.

Admission £6. Children free. Home-made teas
