Shrewsbury Django Fest has become an exciting international feature on Shropshire’s music scene especially for lovers of jazz, classical, world music and of course, gypsy jazz. This year's line up is the biggest yet, bringing literally the very best Gypsy Jazz musicians on the planet to the heart of Shrewsbury for a weekend of gypsy fire and romance, jams and world class concerts!
Stochelo Rosenberg, the most celebrated gypsy jazz guitarist since Django, will be performing plus legendary gypsy musicians Paulus Schafer, Tcha Limberger, the Robin Nolan Trio and many more.
Concerts and jams will take place in multiple venues within Shrewsbury town centre throughout the day and night, with St Mary’s Church being transformed into this year's main concert venue. Expect an electric atmosphere and some of the hottest guitar playing you’ve ever heard!
