Prince Paul Anton wanted to show off his orchestra to the Viennese aristocracy, and Haydn provided him with ideal material for doing so, amusing them with references to the times of day, including a depiction of the rising of the sun, that opens the triptych of symphonies in Le Matin and the sunset thunderstorm that brings it to a close in Le Soir.
Eva Caballero performs with London-based ensembles and a variety of orchestras, including The Sixteen, Gabrieli Consort & Players, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and Armonico Consort.
After training at the Guildhall School of Music, Crispian Steele-Perkins became a member of the English National Opera, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and the English Chamber Orchestra.
