A Roman Supper – what did the Romans eat in Ancient Britain?

A Supper with dishes that would have been eaten by the Roman-British - Gladiator Stew, (authentic) Pizza, Alexandrine Squash, Pear Patina.
... followed by a Wine & Cheese tasting. The wines are produced from grapes that the Romans would have been familiar with - complemented by cheeses.
An interesting evening in all.
