Wem Town HallMore InformationThe ‘Craft of the Silver Smith’ is the topic of the talk at the next meeting of Wem Civic Society in Wem Town Hall. The Speaker is Penny Wheat, who worked as a lecturer at Stafford College for 36 years, teaching silversmithing and jewellery. This has been reported as a lively and amusing talk lavishly illustrated with many items of silverware and jewellery etc.
The talk will be delivered to the cinema screen in Wem Town Hall via Zoom. There will still be an opportunity to question the speaker as with traditional meetings.
Non-members can attend the meeting; entrance fee is £2.50. Tea and coffee will be available. -
