Third Class - A Titanic Story
19:30 1st October 2026
atThird Class - A Titanic Story
19:30 - 20:45 1st October 2026
More InformationA one-man theatre show based on the life of Titanic survivor, Edward Dorking.
Edward was openly gay and on Wednesday, April 10th, 1912, he set sail for NYC on a ticket bought for him, by his parents in the hope his American family could put him 'right'.
Third Class charts Edward's journey from boarding the Titanic to swimming for 30 minutes towards an already full, collapsable lifeboat and how he, upon arriving in New York would tour the Vaudeville circuit, recreating the stories for a fact-hungry public.
But Edward didn't want fame; he wanted revenge.
When everyone was talking about the deaths of millionaires and society figures, few were discussing the people who took the lion's share of the losses that night: the third class.
Using music, movement, projection, and historical facts, Third Class tells the story of an unknown hero from a well-known story.

Market DraytonRich Hall: Chin Music

More Information“Chin Music” has two meanings. One is idle talk. The other is a brushback throw in baseball or cricket to intimidate the batter. Both describe Rich Hall’s comedy. Idle but intimidating. Sharp, quick, splenetic, and sublimely improvisational. If you’ve never seen him, you need to hustle down to your local venue and grab a seat because he never disappoints. Mark Thomas: 40 in Stand Up Years
20:00 12th October 2026
atMark Thomas: 40 in Stand Up Years
20:00 - 22:00 12th October 2026

More InformationWhat?! Mark Thomas has been ‘standing up’ for 40 years? Impossible!! But how old does that make you…? Alas it is true; one of our oldest surviving alternative comics celebrates 40 years at the mic as he takes his brand-new show on the road this autumn.
So, here’s what he has done so far in numbers; performed comedy for 40 years, won 8 awards for performing, 4 for human rights work and 1 he invented for himself, made 6 series of the Mark Thomas Comedy Product (Channel 4), written 6 books and 5 play scripts, made 5 series of the Manifesto for Radio 4, made 3 Dispatches for Channel 4, sued the police (and won) 3 times, curated and authored 2 art exhibitions with artist Tracey Moberly and had 1 Guinness World Record for holding 20 protests in 24 hours.
If that’s not enough, he’s also walked 724km around the length of the Israel Wall in the West Bank, been credited with changing the law on tax avoidance, started a comedy club in Palestine with Dr Sam Beale and campaigned successfully for things like trade union recognition for cinema workers and getting multinationals to change their practices. You’re right, there’s more, but your attention is running out and we’re running out of space. So, let’s just say he’s generally mucked about trying to have fun and upset the right people…which he is really, really good at.
This is a taster menu of political and personal mayhem, jokes, rants and a state of the nation broadcast as he tries to turn ‘what the hell is going on’ into a cogent evening of stand-up.

More InformationArthur’s Plough is back on stage!
The Fordhall Story in a fantastically funny Play with Music.
Fordhall Farm is to be put firmly back on the theatrical map this autumn with a brand-new version of the county’s legendary play about Fordhall Organic Farm.
As the farm celebrates 20 years in community ownership, Chris Eldon Lee has returned to revive and update the musical play, first performed in 1991.
At the time, the play’s subject, veteran organic farmer Arthur Hollins, brought his children Ben (then 7) and Charlotte (9) to every performance.
Having saved their tenanted farm for the nation by placing it into community-ownership, Ben and Charlotte Hollins - now in their 40s - persuaded Chris to re-embark on the project one last time. Joined by fellow producer Maggie Love, and musical director Mary Keith, the original delivery team are in place to deliver another entertaining show-stopper.
‘Arthur’s Plough - 2026’ will be performed under professional direction and management by a dozen of the best community actors in Shropshire, accompanied by the “Mere Singers” choir, which is being expanded for the occasion.
This will be a tremendous play celebrating Arthur’s Hollins’ journey into organic farming, his pioneering yoghourt factory, and more recently the fight to save their family home from industrial development and the innovative share scheme that has placed Fordhall on the map once again.
You’ll leave inspired by the power of collective community action, you’ll create a new passion for microbial life below the soil surface and, most importantly, you will have great fun along the way!
Author, Chris Eldon Lee says, “It’s a warm, loving and humorous play, expanded to tell both Fordhall’s pioneering stories. It has its serious moments, but the emphasis is very much on using comedy to unearth the story beyond the TV soundbite. There will definitely be singing pigs and dancing microbes.”
Tickets are restricted. To ensure you get yours book them early – this will be the last time this theatre performance is done live!

14:00 23rd October 2026
at Festival Drayton Centre
Market DraytonThere's A Monster In Your Show
14:00 - 14:50 23rd October 2026

More InformationTom Fletcher’s interactive adventures for big imaginations are leaping from page to stage, as the beloved ‘Who’s in Your Book?' series tours the UK in a brand-new musical show.
A group of performers are preparing to start their show, but quickly discover they are not alone on stage. Little Monster wants to be part of the fun too! With an invitation to his friends, Dragon, Alien and Unicorn to join him, you can expect comedy and chaos as they help to create a magical show, learning about the joy of books and friendship along the way.
A high-energy 50-minute adventure featuring lively original music, this show is the perfect introduction to live theatre.
Expect plenty of playful fun for your littlest ones as their favourite characters come to life in a show that is packed with interactive moments to enjoy together.
New music composed by Tom Fletcher, Barry Bignold and Miranda Larson.
Tom Fletcher says, "Being part of the creative team has been a real joy and I’ve loved blending my passion for storytelling with live theatre. Back when we kicked things off in 2023, I never imagined we’d be heading out on a fourth national tour in 2026! It’s all thanks to the brilliant puppeteers, the magical puppets and the amazing families who keep coming back. I know taking kids to the theatre can be a bit daunting – but this show is made with young families in mind. It’s completely interactive, noisy in all the best ways and children are encouraged to shout, sing, clap and dance their hearts out!"
