More InformationMidlands Air Ambulance Charity is delighted to launch its first clay shoot event, promising an exciting day of fun and friendly competition. The event will take place on Saturday 31st May at the West Midlands Shooting Ground, one of the region's most historic shooting venues.
Proudly sponsored by JT Hughes Group, a leading Shropshire based car dealership, the event will follow a traditional 100 bird sporting format. Participants will take on twelve clay shooting stands over the course of two hours, offering an exciting challenge for experienced clay enthusiasts. Beyond the competition, there’s plenty to explore, including sponsor stands and the charity’s helicopter demonstration pod.
Team bookings are now open, with various timeslots available throughout the day. Each team can include up to six members, and all participants must hold a valid shotgun license. Entry is £75 per person. Attendees can also pre-order a limited edition Clay Shoot branded Jack Pyke gilet for £29.95, a fantastic way to remember the experience and make more missions possible.

This will be a fundraiser concert for Alzheimer’s Research UK charity and will also be the inaugural concert for the new organ at Holy Trinity Church, Much Wenlock. Singing the magnificent Gloria by John Rutter, as well as works by Vaughan Williams, Weelkes and Charles Wood, the singers are delighted to be joined by a 9-piece professional brass band, 2 percussionists and organ. ArtShack offers small friendly personal creative development sessions every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, giving you the opportunity to learn and develop new skills with help and support from professional and well experienced artists. People of all ages and abilities from the complete novice to the more experienced are welcome.
Morning and afternoon sessions are available on each day.
We offer – textiles, felting, lino cuts, ceramics, silk painting, painting, drawing, sculpture, print making, embroidery and so much more!
